The pain points of traditional trash cans
To break down the process of using a trash can, there are actually three steps: throwing garbage, packing garbage, and bagging garbage. Among these three steps:
Throwing garbage is a daily necessity. The larger the garbage bin, the more comfortable it is to throw it away, and the more convenient it is to use it when it is open. But the contradiction lies precisely in the fact that household trash cans are too abrupt, while trash cans placed in the living room and bathroom with open openings not only affect aesthetics, but also easily produce odors;
Packing garbage can be done in the moment of lifting the garbage bag, which is very convenient - not to mention now there are not only lifting bag opening designs, but also pull-out bag opening designs. Packing garbage can be as convenient as possible, which is relatively the best solution among the three steps;
The action of putting on a garbage bag is the most tedious. First, put down the garbage bag that has been packed in your hand, then find a new garbage bag, tear off a section, and put back the excess garbage bag. Finally, put a new garbage bag on the garbage bin - it's not easy to put on, but the new bag may not fully unfold due to air pressure, which is very uncomfortable to use. Therefore, this is also the last thing I want to do.
I don't know if everyone feels the same way as me?
What should a smart trash can look like?
The smart trash can has been around for a long time.
The earliest so-called "intelligence" was that the covered garbage bin could sense the flip cover. I have seen many friends using it at home, and I have also used it at my own home for a while. Later, due to its small capacity and the trouble of changing garbage bags, it was left unused - I call it "primary intelligence", which means "semi-automatic".
Later on, there was a garbage bin that could be flipped and manually packaged. I personally don't quite understand this requirement. I think packing garbage bags is a convenient thing and not complicated. Automatic packaging can only be considered as icing on the cake, and a single function cannot impress me.
But when I saw that the current smart trash can can can sense flip cover+automatic packaging+automatic bagging, my sister repeatedly boasted to me about this type of product, making it so flashy. I really broke through the defense, as if I was hit by a pain point in an instant, completely unable to refuse. At this point, the intelligent trash can has achieved "full automation".
